Success Story:
Honolulu Club-932 Ward Ave.

Recently, APC was asked by this client to give them a proposal for a new PBX telephone system. We have been servicing this client for 7-8 years and we are very familiar with their mode of operation, thus our recommendation to them was to upgrade their existing PBX from regular trunks to a T1 service using an older technology, but cutting their operation expenses by nearly 2/3 of what they spend now. After assuring the client that the necessary parts were available and in good supply on the secondary market the owners agreed that this would be a great way for them to cut costs and save money for a future investment. Management agreed that down the road their operational procedures might change and more likely require latest technology, after it is more tried and true.

APC facilitated the negotiations with the T1 carrier and purchased the new T1 card and other essential components to facilitate the upgrade for this client. The implementation and cutover had a few glitches, but was successfully executed and the client is fully operational and is currently saving approximately $ 1,500.00 per month. Over the projected useful life of this upgrade our client will save nearly $ 90,000.00 and they will be able to use those savings to pay for a brand new system sometime thereafter.

We at APC know that we could have proposed and possibly sold our client a new system, but we also felt that by doing this type of upgrade we were actually providing a better service to Honolulu Club than just taking their money. We feel that this will build a better bond with our client and in the future correspond to more business together. We would like to thank Mr. Kelvin Chang and Mr. Mike Ako for their business and trust in making this a successful and profitable upgrade for their business.
